Our drive is about 15 minutes from our house near Union Station on a weekday -- only a few minutes more than it is on a weekend/holiday -- the fastest we can get there is like 10-12 minutes. H Street and Maryland Ave, while both commuting routes, can be crowded but move well in general, and there are many bailout/alternative routes.
FWIW OP, we adore TRY. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
How are the Music/ Spanish/ Dramatics specials? We have been especially pleased with the quality of specials that our child got at our IB school...

Our commute would be approx. 12 minutes by car. Our neighborhood DCPS school is 5-7 minutes walk. We like it a lot, but are wondering if TR Young would be better.

We are wait-listed at Two Rivers Young, and have a strong chance of getting accepted into PK4. Any insights on how it compares to PK at Hill schools such as Peabody, Ludlow Taylor, etc. ?
