Thanks for your question, We currently have 4 infant spots available & 2 toddler spots. We just began advertising 7 days ago, and we have had several people visit the center. I do not have any submitted applications yet, but we have always had a rate of 1 application every 2-3 weeks. So we should be at full capacity by the end of June. Thanks!
Feel free to post any questions you may have! Thanks

THANKS for your feedback! And we have both things that you have mentioned. We definitely have multiples of all toys. And in regards to large motor skills. You are right all children need to have access to steps, slides, and plenty of room to run. That is why we have a fabulous space outdoors. I'm sorry that we failed to include our outdoor pictures for you to see. Large motor skills is more that simply providing a large space for children to run. Large motor skills includes the ability to walk on pavement, gravel, grass. Learning how to balance your body as you are challenged to stay standing on different surfaces.

Thanks again for your input we hope to serve many families in the future!

I'm an educator, and I don't usually recommend for parents to do this. There is also another aspect that needs to be considered which is emotional maturity.

Please don't forget that Maryland is the #1 state in the Nation in education and Mo. Co. is #1 county in state. This means that our children are expected to do so much in Kinder and On. For this reason is best to hold them back. I believe that their self esteem can in jeopardy if they feel that they are always being pushed to do more. Is best to be the oldest in the class and feel confident of your skills.

Don't forget that we are very lucky in this county. We are in the "creme of la creme of school systems"

I wish you the best

BTW. If I had the $$$ I would have placed my boys at Concord Hill School. HANDS DOWN!!! THEY have a 10:1 ratio. So this may be a good option, this way your kids still received individualized attention.
BEST.

Thanks!
I agree. This is a common request. I think labeling first is best. Good luck.

One thing to keep in mind is that you as the parent need to be 100% comfortable leaving 1 adult with a baby all day. And trust that they have the skills and patience to care for the infant. I always choose the safe route. And I always advice my friends that having 2 people in a room caring for children is ideal. We all have our bad days, and this way if one adult is having a rough day, the other adult is there to balance the energy out. We are all humans and babies require tons of patience. Do what will let you work and sleep at ease. Good luck.
Hello,
I am a parent coach, and I have worked in preschool centers for over 20 years. I want to create a series of free videos (youtube) for parents to be able to use a guide when looking for daycare, etc. Any suggestions?

I thought of a few...
1. Tips and tricks on choosing the right childcare
2. Things to think and ask at a preschool center
3. Things to think and ask during a family childcare visit
4. What makes a good daycare
5. Home care vs. Preschool

6. How to discuss concerns with your preschool teacher in a constructive way.

I hope there is interest on these topics. I'll appreciate any suggestions.
