This new daycare seems to be all over this board. One suggestion for Nurturing Discoveries: what's up with listing your tuition by-weekly? Just go with monthly for simplicity sake. No one is going to be needing on and off "bi-weekly" care.

That looks like a home care not child care center. Seems a bit expensive for home care with all the extra fees. I hope all that furniture is noted to the walls or floor.

Thanks for feedback. We have always done biweekly, and we have not had any parents share any concerns. Some parents did choose to pay, monthly but we let parents decide if they prefer it that way.

Yes all furniture has been bolted to walls/floors thanks for asking. This is a hybrid concept. We are located in a Home, but we only provide infant care. All of our staff is highly trained and supervised by a third person.) Instead of having 8 children to care for, we only take up to 6 infants/toddlers ages 3months- 3 years of age. And provide the highest quality care possible this way.

Thanks for feedback. We are re-opening after a year of being closed due major renovation/construction. We have had great success in the past and are looking forward to another great start!

You have far too much furniture in too little of a space for infants and toddlers. They need less toy shelves and more open areas for gross motor - small slide, rocking boat that turns into steps, things like that. Make sure toys that you do have you have multiples of the toy.

THANKS for your feedback! And we have both things that you have mentioned. We definitely have multiples of all toys. And in regards to large motor skills. You are right all children need to have access to steps, slides, and plenty of room to run. That is why we have a fabulous space outdoors. I'm sorry that we failed to include our outdoor pictures for you to see. Large motor skills is more that simply providing a large space for children to run. Large motor skills includes the ability to walk on pavement, gravel, grass. Learning how to balance your body as you are challenged to stay standing on different surfaces.

Thanks again for your input we hope to serve many families in the future!

Typical DCUM, quick to criticize. OP, good luck with your new daycare. How many infant spots do you have left?

Thanks for your question, We currently have 4 infant spots available & 2 toddler spots. We just began advertising 7 days ago, and we have had several people visit the center. I do not have any submitted applications yet, but we have always had a rate of 1 application every 2-3 weeks. So we should be at full capacity by the end of June. Thanks!
