I have never had a purbred but a part Siamese. I would say that you should weigh out your options and see what is best for your family.

It could come later. My kid kept saying his throat hurt. Had nurse look at it and said doesn't look like strep. two days later we were at doctor and he tested positive for strep.

I had my gall bladder removed. It was the best thing that I could have done. I no longer am in pain like I was once.
