I have 3 cats. Only one is allowed outside (a rescue that was just too old to acclimate to indoors only). I'd like a cat door that

  • a. will only open/close for cat with the the sensor on collar (the one door on amazon that's highly rated only needs a sensor for cat to go in, but any cat can go out -- not sure why anyone would need that!)
    b. is raccoon proof

  • My beloved Amazon has yielded nothing, so I hope someone here has an idea. TIA.
Wireless is so buggy! And slow.

anyone ever wired their home with ethernet cables? Who did you use? My contractor is happy to do anything, and sometimes he volunteers to do things he's really shouldn't be.

So, who do you call-electrician? handy man? Any idea how much it costs and how big a job it is (like are we talking about ripping down walls or punching small holes...
I've heard wonderful things about Blue Igloo & Intown. Is Tender Roots in Arlington comparable? I can find almost no info on them, so I would love any info you all might have.

If not Tender Roots, what are good alternatives to Intown for my 8 month old? Thanks in advance.

    I live in Clarendon, BTW.
