What to do with Tory Burch bag?

Anonymous
I have an adorable blue color Fleming TB bag. Was gifted to me few years back by my MIL.
After reading the thread that TB is a rich young girl bag I feel uncomfortable to ever wear it again especially in this color. I am fricking 40 but look young like Meghan Markle haha.

To sell? To give to one of my nieces? Keep and wear it in summer?

Sell it on the RealReal or Poshmark. I don't find TB to be a desirable brand for sophisticated women TBH. It's like mass market Kate Spade or Coach to me.

Curious ( not being snarky) what is a good bag for a sophisticated women ( without access to unlimited spending)?

If you think the bag is adorable, why are you letting random people on an anonymous message board influence that? If you like it, use it. Life is too short.

If its cute and you like it then keep it. Who cares what anyone thinks.

I am curious about this too. What I learned from the DCUM threads Cuyana fits the bill.

You should buy what you like and not take fashion advice from the snark-anistas on DCUM. But if you carry your bags for several years, like you did with your Fleming from your MIL, I would seriously consider a nice Gucci bag in your shoes. I get it, it’s a major purchase, but you’re going to get lots of mileage out of it.

What gucci would you recommend?

If you don't want to wear something that you love the look of because of a DCUM thread, then you're obviously a twenty-year-old-at-heart-and-mind. So might be a right bag for you after all.

Pick a bag that people can’t identify by sight.

Please. YES! This. Wear what you like, You are 40; you are old enough to understand that a very few DCUM posters should not dictate anything about you. You don't even know these people or whether you would consider them to have good taste.

Something with less labeling and branding and obviousness. The giant logo is gauche IMO. I would start with brands like Clare V. or Mansur Gavriel. Those are at similar price points to TB.

M. Gemi and Mark & Graham also have some nice leather handbags at this price point.
