Neighbor’s dog keeps pooping in my yard

They do it at night and I find the poop on the lawn near the driveway. Should I pick the poop and throw it on their driveway to reciprocate?

and yes throw it back - and pour bacon grease on it. The dog will clean up after itself.

How do you know it’s not a fox or a raccoon? We have a fox who sometimes poops on our front porch.

I’d get a camera for evidence.

As soon as you have that evidence, talk to neighbor “karen, stop letting your dog poop on my property”. If she lies you have video evidence - offer to show it to her.

But I’m also thinking about some things show (maybe weeds?) where Kevin nealon’s character is convinced the noeghdor’s dog is pooping in his driveway every morning but after starting WW3 over it, when he checks the security camera, he learns that he is sleepwalking every night and pooping on his own driveway.

If you've seen this, go ask them about it, and ask them to stop. If it continues, you're free to take more drastic measures.

If you haven't seen the dog do it, I'm unsure how you know it's your neighbors.

Don't do this - it's bad for the dog, and it's not his fault he has a crappy (ha) owner.
