Neighbor’s dog keeps pooping in my yard

OP, stop being a punk. Just ask them to stop. If they don't stop, then kindly throw it in their driveway. If that doesn't work, then kindly leave it on their front porch.

Lot's of options here but with dog owners, you have to draw a line or they will literally shit all over you.

Is your neighbor Ron Mallard? We are having this trouble with him as well.

Ron Mallard. If the evidence of his deeds get spread on social media, so much for his aspirations of becoming mayor.

I also see lots of foxes. I guess they have to go somewhere.

You pick up the poop, ring their door bell, and hand it to them

(in a bag of course)

BUT you must see the dog actually do it and you must give it to them right away

That's what worked for me

NP. I have a hard time believing someone so obnoxious and rude who lets their dog poop on someone else’s lawn and doesn’t pick it up would be responsive to a reasonable request. They know they’re being aholes.

Once when I was younger, my roommate came home to find a guy pooping in our yard.

OH MY GOSH! I laughed so hard. This is what I'm here for. Thank you!

That was like the least funny thing I have ever seen.

You don’t know if it’s your neighbor or someone else walking their dog at night and not picking it up.

agree, it could be someone else's dog.

The problem is, dogs have "toilet areas." That's why they sniff before going. They are looking for the communal latrine. The smell actually triggers them to go.

So you've also got to spray down that spot, OP.

If you also take the poop and put it on the neighbor's (or smear part of it in the grass there so it's less obvious), you'll establish the new latrine spot.

Maybe I should set a September Halloween and leave “the treats” by their door.
Trick or Treat
Smell this log…

I saw a neighbor approach another neighbor outside about not cleaning their dog’s poop. She was quite upset and pointing to the area, and it was goose poop.

Motion sensor sprinklers.

Pick up the poop, put it in a bag and when they are not home, put into their letter box.

You hand it to them and have a conversation

I live downtown. We had a neighbor approach another neighbor absolutely irate about dog poop left on their stoop and they even posted about irresponsible dog owners on Nextdoor and went on a rant about keeping dogs off their property! Pics of the nightly poops and all.

It was homeless men shitting on their stoop.

So get that camera before you go in hot.
