AP going nuts

Has anybody seen or experienced an AP going bonkers? I was just rereading The Crucible by Arthur Miller, and remembering that the inciting event was Abigail being rejected by John Proctor, with whom she’d had an affair—and she went nuclear and accused the wife and others of witchcraft in vengeance. Just wondering if parallel things do happen IRL. Not in a Jerry Springer or Hollywood way, just…real life.

Strange question. I would posit that the nuttiness of an AP has the same degree of probability than any other human being.

Only in Fatal Attraction! That bunny on the stove scene should be reason enough for no one to ever have an AP.

Ummm… why are you asking OP, for a “friend”? It seems this is a roundabout way to ask for insight into a situation that might be personal to you. But we can’t really opine if we don’t know any details.

If instead you are looking for people to post AP horror stories or scuttlebutt, might as well just come out and say so.

Yes, it happens. I have seen the betrayed spouse go nuts too and seek vengeance, retribution against the OW/OM too. Sometimes, it's not nuts but they make sure their spouse knows about it too.

I think they should do a remake/spinoff in which the betrayed wife or husband becomes like Alex and attacks the OW/OM and and their family. #metoo in all ...

Ummm, 99.9% of men don't want a future relationship with the AP. They are in it just for the sex.

Reap what you sow? Both parties, correct? That includes the one that knows about a wife/husband and kids and still engages in an affair too...the future will have them reaping what they sow as well. Karma is sweet.
