Audi Field Kid Drop-Off / Pick-Up Location

I am a parent with a group of four 16 year old boys who will be attending the DC United game tonight at Audi field. They'll be unaccompanied and I'm planning to drop them off and pick them up by car. We'll obviously have cell phones to assist in coordinating, and I plan to be relatively nearby when the game ends (I'll probably drive somewhere else and eat dinner and wait to pick them up when the game is over). I'm wondering if anyone familiar with the area (and familiar with what it's like on DC United game nights) have suggestions on a good approach for coordinating? (Thoughts like where to drop off near the field? And probably more importantly where to try and pick them up?) Thanks!

It's a bit of a mess for cars right near the stadium before and after the game. Your best bet would be to have them walk a bit north of the stadium (but probably to stay west of South Capitol Street). You could meet them on Q or P street pretty easily, though you'll wind up sitting in some traffic on your way there and after you pick them up.
