My son loved “Ricky Nicky dicky dawn.” It was funny but obviously not like the best investment of time.
Any ideas for more good shows? That are slightly enriching or good values? |
| Avatar the last airbender |
| Disney+ has a few originals my 20 year old enjoys - the Mighty Ducks show, Mysterious Benedict Society and John Stamos also has a show that looks good. |
My 10 year old, not 20 year old. |

My now 11 yo DD has mostly watched TV shows that her older sibling watches. He's 5 years older, so some have been a little too mature for her. At 9, she was watching The Big Bang Theory, Parks and Rec, things like that. However, they're also both Youtube fans, and they love science and animal videos. This morning they showed me a series by someone who rescues bird chicks of various species, and it was so cute and educational! Mark Rober, an ex-NASA engineer, has great kids' videos on YouTube. They're also big fans of Crash Course AP History and Kurtgesacht, which are respectively an entertaining overview of history and scientific exploration and philosophy questions. I highly recommend the last two!

| Kipo. On Netflix. |
| Good values? |
| My 9 year old watches YouTube videos for his TV time. He watches some shows with us, like LegoMasters and American Ninja Warrior. He really doesn’t have much time for TV or YouTube so not all that worried about it. |
| Arthur |
| Adventures of Gortimer Gibbon on Prime |
| My 9yo DD and 7yo DS enjoyed Annedroids on Amazon Prime. |
| Ted Lasso is a great family show even if you don’t like soccer. |

Series of unfortunate events is great.
If you can find old myth busters, those are phenomenal. Star Trek next generation (filter out a few of the episodes with more mature content, like anything involving shore leave) Some of the animal shows are really good |
| The Goldbergs |
| What We Do in the Shadows. It’s so good, and far better than the movie. We love every character on the show and that is rare for us. |
