Desperately seeking ideas—already been to Williamsburg, Lancaster, Charlottesville, and VA beach…
Who are you traveling with? What do you enjoy doing? What did you like/not like about the places you've been? When would you be going? More information would help us help you.
I love Philly, but it is not the ideal destination in pandemic times. Too many attractions are indoors.
Family of 4, kids ages 8 & 10, late August. We like the beach, exploring big cities, Black history, quirky restaurants, and learning something new.
Definitely Cambridge,MD for quirky and good restaurants, Black history (everything from Harriet Tubman, to slave trade, to Jay-Z, I want to say, once lived there, to famous "Chitlin Tour" of entertainers), outdoors stuff (wonderful wildlife refuge). The Hyatt Cambridge has outdoor and indoor pools and small beach area.
