There no filling a 120+ point producer at the public school level... Big hit, removed from my contender list

I say they fall from #1-3 to the 6-9 range

I 100% agree with that, and I think any team out of the top 5 aren't Legit contenders

Two public school kids on the DMV lax first team. Pretty cool. Overall looks like a weaker group - doesn’t seem like nearly as many stars at the privates this season.

This is true. They will still win a bunch of games but cannot truly contend without him. Yorktown will take Liberty. Yorktown and Madison will come out of Region D.

Interesting comment about weaker group in all dmv 1st team. All of those players will likely see the field as freshmen when they get to college, some will play a bunch as freshmen. That’s basically the new balance and Nike team from the dc region, which did very well this past summer and most of those players will be in the selected for the senior nb game. Strong group IMHO.

The two public kids on first team have had plenty of offers to jump to top privates. Their parents value the public education in their neighborhood and have great trust in thei high school coaches. They grew up with the kids in their school district and have a great opportunity to win a state title.
