Kamala Harris for President

Anonymous
I just saw her FB fundraising and. Now for context, seeing Biden and Obama plugging for $ filled me with rage. I hate ActBlue with a passion. I am text spammed multiple times a day from candidates across the US and “report and delete”. Nancy Pelosi’s emails were horrid “you MUST donate NOW or we will all DIE”. I’ve made 4 political contributions in my life:

- State Governor
- Statehouse Rep
- congressional Rep
- Harris for President (I bought a lawns sign and pitched in an extra $10)

I have kept my contributions limited bc I hate the spamming and threats of what will happen if I don’t give more money.

BUT I nearly teared up watching Kamala. She asked just for $10. She looked sincere. She spoke about what that small contribution would do. And she said Thank you. That’s the way to raise money!

At this moment I could not love her more.

I know this is likely the honeymoon but for now I am so happy and relieved to have a candidate I sincerely like.

Yeah, these grassroots fundraising numbers are INSANE

Yes, back to the point of this Post! I'm very excited for the future with Kamala, even if it means the same "boring Biden policies," because Biden's policy work was never my issue. It was my confidence that he could pick up his morning tea.

Same, same.

Absolutely not! Biden is cleared for recovery and will be there, as he should as the sitting President. Stop stirring bullsh*t.

“Trying to find fault”?? Hoo boy. If you were honest - which you’re not - you’d admit that the vast majority of Democrats were vocal about her being a complete drag on the campaign just a few short months ago.

The vast majority of Democrats have been walking around despondent because our party gave us little choice but to vote to nominate Biden even though most of us told them we think he's too old. We hadn't paid that much attention to Harris.

Now we have a coherent, energetic candidate who is not a felon and who definitely won't remove fda approval for the abortion pill or eliminate the Department of Ed and that is exciting because it is SO much better than the alternative.

The DNC aka the Saviors of democracy know best as party planners . They never make mistakes

What do you care? Your concern should be the RNC.

Today is the first day that I feel, "Wow, we can do this!"

I am beginning to admire Harris' patience and calm demeanor throughout the storm of the last several weeks.

For the first time in my 35 years, I am going to volunteer as a poll worker. My older daughter might join me.

I can't wait to vote for our first Madam President!

Yes! I love the sudden burst of enthusiasm. I think we finally have hope

Meh. She’s not that remarkable. I’m more impressed with Tulsi Gabbard and Tammy Duckworth. I no want the first female president to be someone we can all truly admire. No, not just admire. Respect.

It is not just about her, it is about us voters. We are excited. There is nothing you can do.

Tell me what to be excited about. The fact that she’s a woman is not enough.

Haley has endorsed Harris. Maybe someone updated in this thread already.

She didn't. Just some group supporting Harris.

DP. Tbh, I don't care that she's a woman. I'm excited that she's young (for a presidential candidate in 2024) and not too crazy. I'm thrilled that we're going to have a non-octogenarian president next year!

Covid isolation is no joke.

Haley hasn’t endorsed Harris. A group of Haley voters have endorsed Harris.
