Those ones are important as well? Will he be able to get any lawyers in those venues? |
I don't see how they can delay this trial much. They spent all that time with the Special Master to sort through the documents. I'm sure the Feds are ready to turn over all of the interviews and supporting evidence they collected. Trump has representation that has been involved in the documents issue since May of 2021. That's two years! |
Let me make this easy for the idiots:
Yes, Hillary, Biden and Pence had classified documents but they did not obstruct the government from taking them back. Had Trump just said, “of, maybe I took some stuff I shouldn’t have, come take a look” this wouldn’t have been a crime. Instead, he not only wouldn’t comply with multiple requests for the documents, he clearly tried to hide that he had them and tried to get his lawyer to lie. Also, the Trump justice department spent three years looking into Hillary’s alleged crimes ans never found anything to charge her on. |
I don't know, but Georgia has to happen before the election because of its direct relevance on the electoral system itself. |
Today is an anniversary date of sorts of 6/14/2018, when the DOJ Office of the Inspector General released its report on the FBI's & DOJ's handling of HRC email investigation, finding NO evidence or bias to prosecute Clinton.
Then state dept in 9/2019 concluded similar findings |
The feds want this to move fast. And that is actually the opposite of politicizing it - politicizing it would be to instead delay and drag the trial out into the timeframe leading into campaigns and primaries. They are not doing that. An example of politicizing it would be the timing in the "but her emails" chain of events. The proposed federal timelines are more than fair. |
Yet even wrapped in his mythology about Hillary, he still has the sense to recognize that the Trump situation is very very bad. |
If the trial happens before the election and Trump is convicted, then what happens? |
Let's see how well he can campaign from behind bars ![]() |
He finishes the campaign from jail. MAGAs will see him as a martyr and vote for him. The rest of the sane world will vote for someone else, either the democrat in the race or a 3rd party candidate. |
Of course, if he is acquitted he could dance around and say he was unfairly charged. If he's so sure he's innocent, he should want to get this over with so he can do that. Wonder why he's not pushing for that? |
All the lies about emails will persist forever, I guess. The questioned emails weren’t even “Hillary’s emails”, they were State Department emails sent by State Department employees from the State Department unclassified server. Huma Abedin didn’t have “Hillary’s emails” on their home laptop, she had her State Department unclassified email account on the laptop so she could send and receive emails from home. Hillary’s private server was more secure than the State Department email system. |
