Is your daycare closed for Good Friday?

Are most daycares closed for Good Friday? Mine is and I didn't expect it. Just wondering about other "big" daycare centers.

| why didn't you expect it? i signed an enrollment agreement that included all the holidays the center was closed. |

No, but it's at the JCC. 
They are, alas, closed 2 days next week and the following week for Passover. |

| No-- our daycare follows the government holiday schedule so it's open. They are closed on Mon though but it's for a teacher workday. |

| No. Ours follows the holiday schedule of most private employers (i.e., just the "major" ones). |

| No. Mine closes just for the six major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July fourth if it is on a weekday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas). |

| Nope. I would have been surprised if they were. I've never heard of employers giving the day off, so unless it's a home day care and the director is religious, it never would have crossed my mind. |

| Unless it's a Christian based preschool, this surprises me. Most centers go by the federal govt schedule. Except of course OTHER religious preschools i.e. JCCs... |

| Yes, our daycare is closed. It is a Catholic daycare so I'm not surprised. Luckily, my husband also has the day off (the NY Stock Exchange is closed on Good Friday I believe). |
