Is your daycare closed for Good Friday?

Mine too - We are using backup care provided by our company at Bright Horizons for Good Friday and Easter Monday, who are of course totally full plus a waitlist, so I have to take the tykes to 2 different locations because we just barely squeezed in. I gotta check the calendar, I think they might be closed April 16 (Friday) for DC Emancipation Day. Interesting history, DC Emancipation Day marks the day nine months BEFORE the Emancipation Proclamation when DC slaves were freed (and their owners compensated, which didn't happen anywhere else.) |

| Our center planned on closing, it's a christian preschool, but because of the snow days, they will be open til 1pm. |
