| I love it! Have since I was a little girl. Classic and easy to spell and not too common. Makes me think of a sweet, kind and smart girl. |
| Hate it! The "een" sound specifically. |
| love it |
| Great name! Check out the recent biography of Al Hirschfeld, who did amazing sketches of celebrities in which he hid his daughter's name - Nina! They used to be published in the NY Times while he was alive in the Sunday edition, and I always loved finding the hidden "Ninas". |

My sister was Carina. My childhood nickname for her was Nina. So I like it, but it might not outlast early childhood.
Would you consider a name with the nickname Nina so that she could have a more formal name when she was older e.g., Catalina, Florentina? |
| Just seems kind of plain to me. Nothing wrong with it though |
|
I love it. My DS has a teacher named Nina that he's luke warm on, otherwise it would be on my list for the upcoming DD.
Pretty, classic, easy to spell - it's great. |
+1. Like Jane |
| Nina is a beautiful name. It’s formal on its own. Classic and strong. |
| I like it as a nn only. It seems like naming your baby "girl". |
| Great name! |
