Should COVID-19 vaccine be mandated for youth players and coaches?

Coaches and kids over 12 unless their physician documents some legitimate medical reason why not.

There is no requirement now for youth players and coaches to get other vaccines. I don't see why Covid vaccine would be any different. Schools, however, are a different matter since they do require plenty of vaccines already so it wouldn't be a huge stretch to add covid vaccine to the list. (yes, I realize covid vaccine is still only authorized for emergency use so the mandate would probably only come once fully approved). Even if it made sense, clubs and teams are not equipped to manage the vaccine requirement process the way schools are, so I say leave it to the schools.

It's deadlier, more common, and effectively addressed through vaccination. That's why.

compared to everything that we require vaccinations for, it's actually far less deadly
