This is wrong. The other guy added proof to show that his grade levels are correct. You are obviously trying to manipulate patents. |

In the 2026–2027 school year, children born after August 1, 2010, will generally be entering 10th grade (Sophomore year). Depending on their specific birth month and your local district's cutoff date.

Those school districts don't match my school district. |
Yes, trying to manipulate parents to play their kid up to match a grade is bad. This works and doesn't manipulate anything. Clubs in DMV don't allow playing as a choice. They match all school districts. The only thing that might be different is the school (month) cutoff dates. The year students were born is the same for all districts across the USA. If you hold your kid back or start them early the year might be different. But the MAJORITY of students in each grade will all be a certain year/s ie 2010/2011 for Sophmores. |

| Just so you all know, I just see an age matrix and keep scrolling because it's all BS to me. |
What's the point listing the majority of students? Wouldn't listing most will be juniors or younger be more appropriate for an age group considering they all contain multiple grades. And yes, kids who went to school late are allowed to play youth soccer. What's the point of listing grades at all on a table you scribble on at home if they aren't used and clubs don't know the players grades? |
Ok you can choose to believe whatever you want. The matrix is for parents that need assistance understanding how age and grade work. |
Its because "juniors and younger" doesn't mathematically address all edge cases. "most likely" does address all edge cases. |
Sure BS for travel but can be used for rec soccer because a bunch of them follow grades. It isn't always about travel. |
It 100% works for travel. |
