Anyone know anything about University of Bridgeport

Bridgeport is not great. What is appealing about it to your dd? Maybe we can suggest some similar schools.

University of Bridgeport isn't new. I grew up in the town next door, but don't know anyone who went there.

My father and uncle went there. I don't know anything about it now. To the PP who mentioned Manut Bol. You are correct. I saw him play for UB as a kid. I think I came up to his knee.

If you haven’t heard of it or know anything about it, why might you want to waste four years and your money on it? Sounds crazy. Sounds like a hard pass.

I just googled it. It has a 29% graduation rate. I honestly haven’t seen one that low before.

Not a good school. just not. It's bad in general based on the graduation rate and caliber of students there, but it also has a chiropractic college (pseudoscience yikes) and at one point the unification church (moonie cult) tried to buy the university-- bad school and sketchy vibes

Look at Fairfield or Connecticut College instead
