Anyone know anything about University of Bridgeport

My Dad got his MBA there but only because it was convenient to where we lived. I would not travel to be there.

I went to Fairfield. Univ of Bridgeport is a local commuter school for the lower and middle working class people of Bridgeport and surrounding areas. Bridgeport is kind of like east of the river before it was gentrified. I would send my kid to Montgomery college before I sent my kid of univ of Bridgeport. Look at sacred heart or Fairfield instead.

Yeah lmao Sacred Heart and Fairfield are better than bridgeport but honestly not sure why one would go to either unless your DC is just so utterly basic and maybe kinda slow too and enjoys being in suburban connecticut

This post is so incredibly rude. I didn’t go to either but grew up in CT. What’s your problem, PP? Did you get rejected? Your Incredibly strong feelings about this seem to indicate this.

A good friend of mine from HS went to Sacred Heart because that was all her parents could afford (we lived in CT) and she now works high up in the Hilfiger corporation. So she did ok for someone who you think must be intrinsically "slow"

Yep! I loved living on the beach, and my business degree easily got me a a job in NYC before graduation.

No to U Bridgeport.

Look at the other Connecticut state schools instead: west conn, Southern, or Central. Or of course UConn.

Fairfield university is private, expensive, and very preppy/UVA feeling, and I say that having gone to UVA.

It's bad in general based on the graduation rate and caliber of students there, but it also has a chiropractic college (pseudoscience yikes) and at one point the unification church (moonie cult) tried to buy the university-- bad school and sketchy vibes

This. Stay away. In financial trouble too. And that's before you consider living in Bridgeport.
