Julianne Moore is 60 and stunning!

Despite what she says, she’s had surgery, right? Facials can’t prevent all wrinkles, right?

I saw her one time in Bethany with her kids. Like the article says, she was wearing a giant hat and sunglasses.

I think she uses make up and some of the photos have been touched up. There are other photos of her where you can see lines and wrinkles that come with aging. If she has had any cosmetic work, it’s deft.

As an aside, I knew her when she was younger and she looked young for her age back then as well. She was also very smart and very nice.

I don’t know about surgery, but I would definitely think Botox. See the difference in the neck and face? The wrinkles are all there in the face if you look closely, but they’re very faintly expressed and that speaks to expert application of Botox. Sun damage only accounts for so much; I’m also fair and stay out of the sun, but the wrinkles in my face - 11s, brow lines, laugh lines around eyes and mouth - are a natural expression of 50 years of using my face to express myself. Nobody looks like she does at 60 by just getting facials - she’s had something to soften the various expressive wrinkles. Look closely enough and you can see she’s a former smoker.

The wrinkle thing is at least partly genetic. My mom has similar coloring (though not her bone structure, natch), and her skin aged very similarly— crinkling around the eyes but her face stayed otherwise line free well into her 60s. If you looked closely you could see fine lines and signs of aging, but otherwise it really wasn’t noticeable. Now that she’s in her 70s, her age is more visible, especially in her jowels and neck. And more visible lines in her face.

She’s relatively careful about the sun, bring do fair, but not militant (she’s had plenty of unfortunate sunburns in my memory). Some skin just ages differently. There’s an assumption that fair skin ages faster/worse, but that has not been my experience.

I think she probably has done a lot of laser type stuff and probably fillers/Botox.

I just saw her when rewatching The Hand that Rocks the Cradle from the early 90s. Interesting to compare her appearance from then and now. Agree that she is gorgeous.

Julianne Moore isn't in that movie ;0)

Are you thinking of Rebecca de Mornay?

Definitely Botox and fillers, maybe Sculptra, lasers, maybe a neck lift or mini face-lift depending on how much sagging.

Of course she has had some work. Her face is beautiful, but it doesn't move. She is thin, yet she has no frown or smile lines.

Her face looks puffy from filters

She looks amazing and more importantly, she is a very talented actress.

But yes, work - she has had a full facelift including eyes. If not once, a few times.
