Non-scale victory

I'm not sure what this means but when I got my Fitbit in March, it was at the 5 notch. Then it went down to 4. Yesterday it would not stay put so I put it on 3. My wrist is getting smaller! It's not the band stretching because I changed the band recently.

What are your non-scale victories as of late?

I've been working on building glutes since Dec/Jan. My butt had gotten seriously flat from running. I'm finally seeing results. I actually have a butt again!

I've lost about 20 lbs since last July. The first 13 or so came off fairly easily through November, then I was plateaued through the holidays and winter and finally have lost 7-8 more since early May.

I guess most of my clothes have been stretchy, loose, flowy, so I have mostly been wearing stuff that I owned a year ago. But in the last few weeks most of it is falling off me / looks way too boxy. It's a good problem to have!

Great job OP! My NSV is that people keep remarking that I look fitter/slimmer. I haven’t lost any weight, but I switched up my routine to more strength-focused for awhile, and I’m definitely seeing the results!

I am able to wear my wedding/engagement rings after having them not fit for a long time (they are now borderline too big, actually). I'm 48 and got married at 24.

My DH commented that I have dropped weight. So it must be a dramatic change! Lol

I was able to run 6 miles in under 60 minutes! I used to hate running. COVID really forced me to change up my routine!

Last night I had a VERY exciting and vigorous time with DH and didn't need to stop and rest. Yay for all those squats and upped cardio! He was very happy.

I’ve been doing IF since early March and just today hit 129lbs. I was trying to get back below 130 before my baby’s first birthday, which is next Tuesday, and I’m so excited I did it! This was my third baby in 4.5 years and I am so ready to get my body back. I’m still nursing, which makes me hold onto fat, but the scale is moving! Losing about a pound a week. It feels really good to pull out old clothes and have them fit again. I gained about 40lbs with each baby and never lost it all in between so I was still 150 in March. Very motivated to keep getting my figure back.

This is a scale victory, not on subject.

I got my A1C to the normal range. Victory for me - it's been in pre-diabetic range before despite weigh loss.

Yes, she said her clothes fit again. That’s a non-scale victory to me.

That is so uncalled for. Why don't you go take a long walk off a short pier
