Do results usually go out at the end of the school year or should we expect to hear later in the summer? |
Over the summer |
oh boy - this should be interesting when it becomes very clear the impact of hardly teaching our students since March 2020..
|
Do you know when in the summer? Like sometimes this month, July or in august right before school starts |
Some of my kids were told their unofficial results in school. My son was told everyone in all of his teacher’s English classes passed. |
I don’t think you’ll see the impact you thought. We had very few surprises at our APS elementary school. Everyone who we expected to lass pretty much passed. |
As others said, mainly over the summer but if your child did not pass you would hear about it quickly |
my kid was told he wasn't on the list of kids who DIDN"T pass. So good for him/them! |
They are on SIS now. At least for our elementary school. |
+1 consistent with previous years at my SA school |
What’s SIS? |
I'm just curious why you seem anxious for the result timing? We got ours in July previously. |
My principal was thrilled that my child barely passed one of the SOLs. |
Not necessarily. My kid failed one year and no one notified me or even seemed to notice. Barely failed but failed. I had to bring it up in his IEP meeting and it came as a surprise to everyone. |
Normally you know quickly if they passed or failed, but with no retakes this year, they will probably let you know in August like they always do. It's so silly. |
