Bump.
|
| to what end? Do you have a specific question or thought? |
| Talk about the admissions decisions you were given, what your status is in deciding where to have your child attend next year, questions, anything! My son has been accepted to multiple schools and I want to start a thread commited to helping each family find a good fit for their child. |
| YOU ARE CRAZY CAPITALIZATION LADY FROM A FEW WEEKS AGO AREN'T YOU. THE ONE WHO WANTED EVERYONE TO RANK SCHOOLS AND CLAIMED TO BE AN AD WANTING TO HELP PEOPLE? Are you also the person from Jeff's blog? |
OP, before we confide our results, what were yours for each of the subject schools? |
Excuse me? To be honest, I would call you crazy right now. I am new to this blog, and I have no clue what you are talking about or who 'Jeff' is? |
My son was accepted everywhere but maret, where he was waitlisted. We thought that this was rather strange. I am really interested in all the perspectives everyone has, and how we can each help each other. |
We have been accepted at St. Albans, Potomac, Landon, and Prep. We are going to Prep. |
WE are not going to Prep. Your son is going to PREP. Not trying to be nasty but the "WE are a ___[fill in name of school] " is not used by parents of big boys at these sorts of schools. He's on his own. |
WE don't like you. Our ninth grade sons may tolerate you, but WE don't. |
New poster here. My, WE are rude, are WE? |
| OH FOR CHRIST'S SAKE .... WE are paying for it, HE is going! Until HE is paying for anything, it will remain WE! |
| OMG...Helicopter parent alert! I feel so sorry for the teachers and administration at whichever school you (and that's the plural you) choose. I am a teacher and I have dealt with the likes of you before.... |
| I think the royal "WE" is common during the admissions stage when it takes a lot of coordinated visits and decisionmaking for both parents and child. Hopefully it will evolve into "HE" when the school is selected and child is immersed in day to day school life. |
