Success stories - pregnant quickly after last pregnancy?

A bit of background, I lost my daughter at full term due to a cord accident at 39 weeks. She was my first and it was a freak accident. Just awful.
It has been so devastating. Through a lot of therapy, prayer, and friends we are healing. We were cleared to TTC after two cycles given our age and other factors (I'm 38, it took me 6 months to conceive before). I doubt I will get pregnant quickly again, but we are not using protection and I am currently 4 months postpartum. In the event by some freak good accident I get pregnant quickly, I wanted to see if there are any expectant moms here that have their pregnancies really close together? If my daughter had lived, we would have never TTC so quickly, but given the circumstances we are. Is anyone here pregnant pretty quickly after their last pregnancy? What was your experience like? Any advice is super helpful! Thanks! |

| I have a few friends who have kids 11-13 months apart. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I cannot even imagine. I hope you get your rainbow baby. |

| Lots of us are children of this age range. My parents had 7 kids at the same elementary school at the same time (7 children, no multiples, in grades 1-8). Our family was not unique. At my kids’ Catholic school, we see lots siblings 12- 18 months apart. |

Ugh, how awful for you OP. You’re in my thoughts.
It took me 7 very long months of active temping/charting/OKPs, the works, to get pregnant with my first at 35. Anticipating a similar or even longer timeframe, we started actively trying when he was 7 months old. Same kinda thing, but not quite as diligent. Pregnant 3 months later. Due in August - kids will be 19 months apart! Best of luck to you. |

I was pregnant 4 mos PP, while nursing and being on the mini pill. Never got a period- delivered a healthy baby girl 13 mos after her brother with zero complications. I wish you all the best as you recover and grieve- and hope you have success and a healthy baby in your arms sooner rather than later. |

| I have two cousins who are siblings born in January and December of the same year. Second baby was clearly a surprise but it worked out well. |

Oh honey I am so so sorry this happened to you.
My first took me over 2 years to conceive. I think I had endometriosis. After my period came back, I got pregnant within 2 cycles. |

My mom got Pregnant with my sister four mouths after I was born  we’re both happy and healthy and very very close
With that said lots and lots of hugs to you you’ll be okay it will all be okay! |

I am so so sorry for your loss.
I got pregnant 7 months postpartum. We actually needed fertility treatments for our first so it was a shock. No issues with pregnancy. |

I have more than one friend who found out they were pregnant again at their 6w postpartum doctor’s appointment. Their periods hadn’t come back, I was no where near ready for sex 2 weeks after childbirth, but apparently it’s not all that uncommon. All had healthy babies. I got pregnant easily with my first, and then it took over a year of trying for my second (18 months), and then easily again with my third. No idea why the middle one took so much longer. I hope you conceive easily and have a healthy pregnancy. Best wishes to you! |

| My good friend had two children 13 months apart and the second was born after she was 40 so it's certainly possibly at any age. |
