Success stories - pregnant quickly after last pregnancy?

Yep-- My grandparents had five kids in seven years (they're Mormons). My mom is kid #2 and she's only 5 years older than kid #5.

A friend of mine lost her full term child in utero due to some unusual circumstance. Don't know whether the next pregnancy was intended or accidental, but she got pregnant again within 3 months and delivered a healthy baby almost a year after she lost the first one. Good luck to you!

Similar aged best friend lost a baby at 32 weeks and got pregnant again 4-5 months later. Baby is happy healthy almost 2YO now. Although he was born 3 weeks early, which was incredibly (and rightfully so!) terrifying for her!

I'm so sorry for your loss, OP.

I had 2 pregnancies back to back (early miscarriages/ chemical pregs) and then a successful pregnancy a few months after the 2nd miscarriage. So sorry for your loss OP

I'm so sorry for your loss, OP.

I have two friends who got pregnant again at 3 months postpartum and had full term healthy babies.

I got pregnant the cycle after a MMC/D&C and turned out fine as well.

There is hope and I wish you all the best in this difficult time.

I am so, so sorry, OP. Virtual hugs to you and your husband.

I gave birth to my first just after I turned 38. We waited 6 months before trying again and got pregnant 4 cycles later. Unfortunately, I miscarried after just a few weeks. I was pregnant again 2 cycles later and gave birth to my second child just before I turned 40. They are 20 months apart.

I wish you the best of health and the best of luck.

I am so very sorry, OP. My heart is breaking for you.

I just delivered my rainbow baby on Tuesday! He was conceived one month after my miscarriage. And that was my second miscarriage.

I echo all the condolences above. You’re in my thoughts and prayers, OP.

My kids are 11 months apart. I got pregnant two months after I gave birth to my first. I hadn’t even gotten my period back. I was 37/38.

I wish you all the best.

I'm so very sorry, OP. My first baby was stillborn, too. My second was born healthy and well 14 months later. But I had a hard time, emotionally, during pregnancy with DC2. I joined a support group for women expecting after a loss and it was really helpful for me.

Best wishes to you.

Gosh OP, I am so so sorry for your loss.

My niece passed away when she was just over one month due to SIDS. My sister was pregnant around 3 months after her birth. She had a ton of anxiety but welcomed a healthy baby girl.

So so sorry this happened to you. Horrific. I have a friend who tried for 18 months to get pregnant with her first. They were about to start IVF when it happened - she went on to have several pregnancies after and got pregnant right away with both. All full term pregnancies.
