BREAKING: Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis' case against former President Trump is in deep trouble after Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger testified that Trump never told him to engage in any illegal conduct during the 2020 election.

You are a clown. Read the indictment.

Read the article:

"In a shocking turn of events, a bombshell investigation has uncovered jaw-dropping connections between Fani Willis and a sprawling web of election fraud and money laundering activities."

Sometimes, I wonder what has happened to people’s bullshit detectors.

Over the past decade or so, Fox News has groomed us to betray our senses. And I do watch Fox News, but prefer CNN. I split my vote between the two main parties as I lean conservative on some matters and lean liberal on other issues. Rupert Murdoch has planted and nurtured the seed that divides America.

What do we think of the televised hearing today?

Right now the Chesebro attorney spoke, and he seemed pretty stressed out, probably due to the presence of live cameras.

I think these are the people who got addicted to OxyContin. They are zombies. Every suburban pill/wine addict I know is a Republican.

Powell attorney speaks more forcefully than Chesebro attorney.

Is this like dogs and their owners? That defendants pick lawyers that are similar in personality to themselves?

Will Wooten, Fulton County prosecutor, seems well-prepared in his arguments. Speaks better than either Chesebro attorney or Powell attorney.

Prosecutor explains that victims and witnesses to only testify once, instead of being revictimized or inconvenienced several times.

They will call 150+ witnesses.

Motion denied to sever Chesebro and Powell case.

Judge said it was unrealistic to try all 19 defendants together, but he was willing to hear the prosecution's arguments later.

at least four months to prosecute this case, so it will be over sometime in April or May, I suppose.

If any Secretary of State leaves Trump off of a ballot due to the 14th amendment his campaign will challenge in court, it will go up to SCOTUS, and SCOTUS will order that he be put on the ballot. It’s an interesting legal exercise but pointless as any kind of practical solution.

Couldn't the state just ignore SCOTUS like Alabama did?

This is not a "technical issue" - the guy isn't, wasn't and never was a Federal Employee in this context. Wow, the chutzpah.

+1 Meadows had a legitimate argument for this, Trump campaign lawyers do not. Similar to Meadows having a legitimate argument for dodging the January 6 Committee subpoena when Steve Bannon did not. People around Trump think that anybody who talks to Trump gets executive privilege. They don’t.
