And this isn't some normal middle class American slacker teen with no resources. She was a rich, hyper-driven gunner, who was groomed in elite private schools all of her life, had all As, president of her class, multiple sports, etc. and sought to attend a hyper-elite college. I love that she's such a helpless child but apparently she could figure out how to pursue entry into foster care instead of just moving out of her mom's house and in with a friend's family... you know, like any normal 12th grader who has serious issues with their parents?

And during all of this trauma & chaos she was IMMEDIATELY savvy enough to not only get a $30,000 full ride scholarship to her private high school (allegedly) but she also IMMEDIATELY filled out at least one of the most exhaustive, prestigious and lucrative college scholarships there is, Questbridge? You know what I bet? I bet she also hedged her bets and filled out multiple other lavish scholarships and admissions program apps, e.g. Gates Millennium Scholar. So she JUST entered foster system and she IMMEDIATELY knows she can seize on all of these lavish scholarship programs she was 100% excluded from just months prior as she was white, rich, with highly credentialed parent(s)? What a quick study...

THIS. THIS. THIS. She’s mentally ill and orchestrated this whole damn thing to go to an ivy. It sounds like the bones are a shitty home life were there but she isn’t at all what she’s projected herself to be and I would speculate purposefully said what was need to be “removed from the home” and put into foster care. I also suspect her weeks long hospital stay was not due to wounds, broken bones and body braces but either an eating disorder (explains the alleged feeding tube) or mental health issue that was happening simultaneously. People like this are so exhausting.

Not any Ivy, I suspect she was obsessed with Harvard and Yale, maybe Stanford too. Because her CV was already good enough for WashU, and no guarantee, but she had favorable odds of getting into Cornell. But you don't go through all of this trouble to get to a low Ivy like Cornell over WashU, no, this is a rich status-obsessed brat who wanted to get into Harvard or Yale. I'm safely assuming she was disappointed to only match with Penn, thus immediately turned her sights on Oxford.

What kind of car, if any, did she have in 11th grade before breaking up with her mom?

How did she get to and from school and ECs in 12th grade while in "the system"? Did she give her mom back the car or did she keep the car she had in 11th grade?

Amazing how many adults here need to feed their egos by trashing a young kid to enhance their sense of moral superiority. Sad.

Did she have a car in high school? That was an odd question by the Penn admins but I’m assuming there was a reason for them to ask.

Yep. It's everyone else's fault.

Quelle suprise.

Just a near adult teen I mean “kid” who forced herself into the foster care system “technically” and coincidentally right before college admissions season. The fact that she immediately knew to go exploit the most selective and $$$$$$$ college scholarship & admissions programs she was unqualified for mere weeks prior suggests that was the motive for this from the very get-go. It’s like the Dateline episodes where the wife mysteriously dies and the husband immediately cashes in a $3 million life insurance policy, buys a sports car and marries the mistress.

Did she try to steal more financial aid from Penn under the guise it was to take care of a half-sister? Did she move in with a gullible prof under the impression she was broke and homeless? Meanwhile Penn was no doubt giving her massive sums of financial aid refunds for housing and expenses. She honestly sounds like a conniver and leech; a greedy and entitled spoiled rich girl used to getting her way. She probably thinks she’s the smartest in every room. Better late than never, Penn exposed her for what she is.

A poor Black male bank robber who steals $400k goes to prison for the rest of his life. A rich white girl takes over $400k in financial aid and scholarships and she deserves it because she had an alleged heated argument with her mom in her mom’s mansion in 11th grade.

^ so many good questions. Did anyone ever answer who paid for her $30,000 a year high school in her senior year when she was "bouncing around from foster home to foster home"?

A white male declares bankruptcy when he doesn’t want to pay his debt, restructures his company stealing hundreds of thousand and doesn’t go to jail.

Nobody is kicking a good student out of private school if CPS puts them into foster care.

Remarkable how a broken and battered foster youth, bouncing from home to home, where narcotics and abuse were on full display, somehow discovered she was suddenly qualified to apply for the most lavish scholarship and college admissions programs in the world. Thankfully she found a quiet corner among the chaos she steeped in to submit all of those apps by all of their deadlines.
