Way better? UVa and Santa Clara technically both tied FSU, bruh. Congrats to Santa Clara, though--took advantage of a poor side pass by the FSU defense. The FSU goal was a higher level, though.

Nice try troll. Three ACC teams in the final four including UVA in semis and don’t forget Duke in quarters losing to FSU in PKs. Yes SCU won that game, but the ACC showed their overall strength once again. The parents bragging do have fabulous kids. I am sorry you don’t and have to resort to bad mouthing others.

Florida St got robbed. Ref missed an obvious PK that would have given them the early lead. They were better in every way - technicality, possession, athleticism.

Santa Clara is a fantastic school with a long history of good soccer teams.
I'm thrilled for them!

(And unlike some previous posters, my being thrilled for them takes nothing away from the other schools who are also filled with wonderful players)

That player read the game, saw the flat pass and capitalized on it. That 's the better goal.

Maybe possession but the rest they were even. Actually, obviously, Sant Clara was BETTER - (PS - they won... that's how you determine who is better). Read all the other posts. Playing a good game doesn't matter - winning matters.
