Ignoring price, performance, reliability, interior features, etc.:

You should take a look at the Lincoln Aviator. It looks nicer than all of these.
The Mazda CX-9 with the top trim lines looks like a luxury vehicle. Under-rated vehicle, imho. |
|
Volvo XC90 wins on exterior looks.
Followed by a model omitted from OP's list, the Lexus RX350/450h in luxury or F-Sport trim. The looks can be polarizing, but A) the wheels and LED head/tail lights on the luxury trim completely change the look from the less appealing base model, and B) 101,000 people in the U.S. bought an RX in 2020, so plenty like the looks. |

Volvo
Acura Honda (not sure what the redesign will look like this year) Toyota Mazda Traverse Subaru |
| The Traverse is terrible looking but strangely the GMC Acadia looks much better. |
| OP here. I like the Volvo best too. It’s just a little to far out of our range but gosh I like it. Trying to decide what I like 2nd. DH wants to get the new MDX. |

Volvo
Aviator (like PP, adding it in) Mazda Lexus (adding that one, too) Acura Highlander Subaru Honda Chevy FWIW, I drive the Subaru. The interior sold me, and I didn’t want to pay the Volvo or Lexus price and didn’t want to deal with the Volvo reliability. The Acura looks better than the Subaru but not enough to justify the price difference. |
I used to really like the Acura exterior but for some reason it looks tired/dated now. I still like the interior, although it’s a bit small for my needs |
The Volvo is just a higher class of car than the others on your list. I too wanted it, but it was at least $10k over my budget! Will you need the 3rd row regularly or rarely? Acura’s third row is kind of eh. Also, the Acura doesn’t have real captains chairs. I do agree it’s a really nice drive. |
I don’t mind how the Traverse looks. Mind you I would never get a GMC, but it looks ok. None of these cars are beauties, let’s be honest. |
My DD drives one and loves it. She bought it with 30,000 miles for a great deal. Maybe check around. |
