Oh look the city has been holding people who've never been convicted of a crime in solitary confinement for a year in order to stem the spread of coronavirus. Can you say "grave human rights abuse." Pretty sure even prisoners at Guantanamo are not allowed to be held in solitary confinement for a year.

Gee OP. By your headline, I thought this was going to be a discussion about the fact that we can now have weddings in DC, but guests can't dance.
But your's is a good example of absurdity as well. |
|
No dancing or standing at weddings either. Everyone is vaccinated? Don't care.

Most schools in this country are now back to normal, five-day schedules. Not in DC though. You'll get two days of school per week and like it!

| Who can run against Bowser and win? |
Oh wait. That's right. You can't stand up at a wedding either. I guess you can't spread Covid if you're seated? Is that how it works? |
I read it has something to do with air pressure and density at 5-6ft vs 3.5 ft. |
|
And yet our coronavirus numbers are worse than many deep red states. We have almost twice as many new coronavirus cases as Mississippi. It's almost as if the city's regulations are...stupid and pointless?

If that!! |
Bwahahaha- why don't you move to Mississippi then? You'll be just in time for their summer wave! |
Literally anyone? The only reason she gets elected is because no one bothers to run against her. |
Alternatively, no one ran against her because they didn't like their odds of winning. |
| You must have a really charmed life if you think the minor restrictions during a health pandemic are wrong. |
It's, it's, almost like we live in an urban area with lots of transients instead of rural Mississippi... |
Heh. Tell that to the un-convicted people held in solitary confinement for the past year. They would have been far better off getting coronavirus. They are going to sue the bejesus out of the DC government and the only question will be if their collective settlement will have eight figures, nine figures or maybe even 10 figures. |
