1.2 million dollars for this:

Laundry in the kitchen? Check.
Wires across the roof? Check.
Obnoxious high gloss colors everywhere? Check.
Ceiling fans in every room? Check.
One of the four bedrooms actually appears to be attic? Check.
Old dated carpet that with ripples in it? Check.

When will this madness stop?

What’s wrong with ceiling fans. I love a ceiling fan.

The laundry in the kitchen is one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen in home listings.

Someone can’t see the forest for the trees. Harping on cosmetic things that are easily fixed?

Methinks OP is a first-time homebuyer obsessed with HGTV. Bless her heart.

The 'bedroom' in the attic appears to be unconditioned space (portable AC or dehumidifier in pic along with sheet rock screwed directly to rafters) and might not be considered habitable space or code compliant. That's not a 'cosmetic' issue.

Bless your heart for conflating health and safety issues with paint colors.

It's a big lot and close to Amazon HQ that's why.

Meh. You don’t actually have a clue what you are actually talking about. And everything else on your list is trivial.

That’s one of the nicer neighborhoods in the city of Alexandria. I used to live there 15 years ago. Seems rightly priced to me.

I don't? That's not an AC or dehumidifier? That's not an unconditioned attic?

The city assessment doesn't list it as a one story structure? Which is it?

Take a hike, loser. You are embarrassing yourself.

Damn. Checkmate. PP got owned. Posts like this are why I come here!

This. It's a tear down at this point.

Hard pass.

Yikes I have to agree with the OP. Ridiculously overpriced.

I think it’s a tear down. Hard to believe but.

Wow. That's a good lot and a good location. You'd think for 1.2M they could remove the dehumidifier in the attic. And maybe get stainless appliances (or, at least, a refrigerator that fits in the space). And for the love of Pete, who decided that laundry in the kitchen was a good idea?!?
Anonymous
LOL that IS terrible
