1.2 million dollars for this:
https://www.redfin.com/VA/Alexandria/2805-Dartmouth-Rd-22314/home/11851024 Laundry in the kitchen? Check. Wires across the roof? Check. Obnoxious high gloss colors everywhere? Check. Ceiling fans in every room? Check. One of the four bedrooms actually appears to be attic? Check. Old dated carpet that with ripples in it? Check. When will this madness stop? |
| What’s wrong with ceiling fans. I love a ceiling fan. |
| The laundry in the kitchen is one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen in home listings. |
Someone can’t see the forest for the trees. Harping on cosmetic things that are easily fixed? Methinks OP is a first-time homebuyer obsessed with HGTV. Bless her heart. |
The 'bedroom' in the attic appears to be unconditioned space (portable AC or dehumidifier in pic along with sheet rock screwed directly to rafters) and might not be considered habitable space or code compliant. That's not a 'cosmetic' issue. Bless your heart for conflating health and safety issues with paint colors. |
| It's a big lot and close to Amazon HQ that's why. |
Damn. Checkmate. PP got owned. Posts like this are why I come here! |
|
LOL! Did the guy who got proved wrong report the comment for removal???
Dumb and sensitive is a bad combination!!! |
This. It's a tear down at this point. |
| Hard pass. |
| Yikes I have to agree with the OP. Ridiculously overpriced. |
| I think it’s a tear down. Hard to believe but. |
| Wow. That's a good lot and a good location. You'd think for 1.2M they could remove the dehumidifier in the attic. And maybe get stainless appliances (or, at least, a refrigerator that fits in the space). And for the love of Pete, who decided that laundry in the kitchen was a good idea?!? |
| LOL that IS terrible |
This is common In Europe |
