NOVA Real Estate Has Jumped The Shark

Yeah I guess we haven't completely jumped the shark if it's still not pending! They need at least another 10% price cut.

Wow. A SFH home (brick one at that) on a huge lot inside the city of Alexandria sitting on the market for 3 weeks and counting. That's unheard of. I wonder if there is something really wrong with it.

Now it's off market. Womder what that means?

Annnnnd it's back on the market, down another 50k, new pictures, and a new agent. Looks like first one got fired. How dumb do you have to be to screw up a SFH sale in Alexandria these days?

It appears that the reason the Laundry is in the basement is.....there is no basement. Or not at least on the plans shown.

This place has zero curb appeal.

That thing has been on and off the market since 2016 with zero sales. My guess i the market is so hot right now sellers finally thought they could get out from under it and got greedy by inflating the price. Backfired and now its on sale again for a month with no takers.

Folks- this is a prime example of why using a professional Realtor matters.

They should move the washer dryer to one of the bathrooms, and stack them. Maybe the bathroom that has the tall storage cabinet.

It's really all just cosmetic stuff.

They still haven't bothered fixing the yard I see. Still looks like an abandoned house from outside. That giant tree in the middle of the front yard needs to go first.

Why the hell would you want washers and dryers in the bathroom? They’re the ugliest homes, next to ones in the kitchen. I get convenience but stop being a lazy fat ?!@&$ and go down to the basement. Unless you’re 80, stairs won’t kill you.

It’s so rare to see a house without a basement. I can’t imagine buying one here unless there was really good storage elsewhere.

Sadly the pics I see now aren’t so terrible. But it’s a depressing kitchen and house for that price. They couldn’t afford new sod??

Agree. And is move in ready. Don’t desperately need to make updates.

And yet its been on the market for two months, with two different agents and two different price drops.... and still no takers...
