What do they wear now?
They have such great terry cotton pants that are comfortable and cheap. They also fit skinny kids well. Unfortunately size 14 is getting too small for my 11 yo Where do I go to buy similar pants? Soft cotton, no inner layer, no buttons? Thanks. |
| I'd look at men's sweatpants, figure out the size based on his height. |

Does your 11 yo prefer that style? I'm not being rude, but it's a younger style. I realize due to sensory issues this style may work well for some. Many boys start wearing the athletic pants instead around that age. We've had good luck with Gap, Target and Old Navy.

He is fairly indifferent to styles, except for t shirts maybe. He is quite sensitive to the “feel” of the clothing though and while I used to buy him synthetic materials athletic pants they weren’t his favorite. I will take a look at the links, thanks! |

OP here, thanks, GAP pants do look promising, but target ones are polyester and he doesn’t seem to like it to the touch (and it’s not breathable imo but I may be biased).

Lands End has boy sizes up to 18-20.

| Nothing to add, but those are my DS's favorite pants too! I'm going to watch this thread for when he grows out of them.... |
| Target brands, under Armour, adidas, champion etc. DS has worn only athletic pants for years and cares more about feel and fit than anything. I switched to these brands by early elementary and he’s still wearing them in middle school. |
| 16:04 again. DD also likes the thick cotton feel and some of his favorites have been from walmart although now he won’t wear them to school. |
| Old Navy and Lands End have boys pants in XXL that saved us for a bit while my very skinny but tall son was just too skinny for the men's pants even in XS. He's 16 now and still wearing a belt on most mens pants. |

There are 2 brands that JCPenny carries that have a similar pants (their search is a pain so sorry for the long links).
Make sure you look for the "Cotton" not the "performance" fleece if there are elements of sensory preference. https://www.jcpenney.com/p/arizona-french-terry-little-big-boys-cuffed-jogger-pant/ppr5007977222?pTmplType=regular&deptId=dept20000016&catId=cat100260020&rrplacementtype=pdp1_jrecs&criteriaName=E1_Seq_VV%20v1 https://www.jcpenney.com/p/xersion-cotton-fleece-little-big-boys-jogger-pant/ppr5008006625?pTmplType=regular&deptId=dept11100000014&urlState=%2Fg%2Fbaby-kids%3Fbrand%3Dxersion%26gender%3Dboys%26product_type%3Dpants%26id%3Ddept11100000014&productGridView=medium&badge=onlyatjcp%7Chuskysize&cm_re=ZB-_-GALLERY-BABY-KIDS-_-VN-_-PANTS_3 |

I have looked at them but they are mostly polyester! |
