My son also loves that style/feel of pant. Hates the athletic/synthetic feel- complaints range from the sound it makes when he walks to the tendency to get stacticky and stick to his body. I have had good luck at Children's Place and Old Navy w larger/longer sizes in plain jersey sweat pants, and fleece pants, which he also likes. Once he totally outgrew children's sizes altogether, I've been having good luck with the Amazon Essentials brand in men's sizes. They have tons of sweatpants and joggers (and athletic pants too)
