For the love of god, help.
This stupid dog will not shut up and bark at anything that moves, including the wind and rustling leaves. He is a bad boy. A very, very bad boy. |
| The dog is in the house? |
|
There are none that you can do remotely that will work. Have you spoken to your neighbor? Is the dog outside for long periods of time? You can file a noise complaint, but I'd talk to your neighbor first as a courtesy.
The devices you could put in your yard that emit ultrasonic noises will disturb far more than the dog you are targeting (and possibly not even the dog) |
I blame the owners, not the dog. ( np) |
|
Did you talk to your neighbor? Perhaps mention it in a nice way?
We have barky dogs but use a bark collar (just the one that beeps) and it works like a charm. Maybe if they know it is bothering you, they will try to fix it. |
The dog is outside. A different neighbor apparently said something, but their attempts to keep the stupid dog indoors lasted for 3 days. It's a dog that barks constantly, like 100+ barks a minute. And he barks way, way more than a minute. I don't understand how it doesn't drive the owners absolutely insane because I know it's maddening for many neighbors. I hate that dog so, so much. |
Yes, this. While I certainly understand your frustration OP, I feel sorry for the dog. |
| Move. That’s what we did. And now we have Barry dogs (karma), but I bring them inside after a minute because I know how annoying it is. |
| Barky not Barry lol |
| Bark back. |
|
I'm seriously thinking of ordering an anti-bark collar and having it shipped to the house anonymously.
|
OP, did you post on this recently? Do you maybe do something that irritates your neighbors? Like have the landscapers leaf blow just about every week? How many decibels do you suppose that is? I think you are exaggerating about the dog barking, and I think perhaps you are the annoying, demanding neighbor who is unrealistic. Maybe either spend less time at home, or invest in some earplugs. Stop looking for trouble and get yourself a hobby. |
| Take a bunch of dog treats, sprinkle hot sauce on them, throw over fence. It will.give the dog something to do and keep him occupied while he tried to eat around the hot sauce. |
| You need to talk to the owners. The more neighbors that complain, the better outcome you may get. See if other neighbors are also willing to go with you to talk to the owners. |
I think this is worth a try though. Return if it doesn't work. Otherwise, as many of you on the street/nearby complain. So sorry. |
