| There are 3 girls from SYC that Mclean will take. SYC beat Bethesda 08 ECNL over the weekend 2-0. |

| SYC didn't beat Bethesda 08 - that was our 09 team. We scrimmaged SYC early this year and beat them handily. |

I was about to write that. McLean 08 has some good players but it's not a strong team; top CCL teams would easily beat McLean 08. |

Which part? The 09s played in place of the 2008s because of conflicting games. Also, who cares about a scrimmage result. Scrimmages mean nothing. I think you would see a much different result in a official result. Your team suffered another bad defeat on Sunday at Maryland United, this after losing to FC Frederick in the final at Bethesda Cup. |

No, that has never happened. They scrimmage in practice all the time and the 09s rarely win. Not to take anything away from them. They are a good team themselves. Look, before this get's out of control once again, the BSC 08s are a decent team but are not tops in MD or DMV. I think if we had not lost our best player to moving to New Jersey, we would be in the conversation. That player now plays for PDA Blue, likely the top team for 08s in the US. BSC could certainly use a good showing at tryouts this year. There are positions that need to be filled along with bench spots where players can perhaps earn a starting position. We wish the best for Mclean and see they are in a similar position as we are. Hopefully they also get a strong turnout and the players/parents make a good decision with all of the options in NOVA. |

I think it will be more than 3 SYC girls. I think 6. Not sure what that means for McLean girls. If they will just add 6 more so they can work their way to a 30 person roster or if some will get cut. |

| McLean parent here wondering why the SYC coach was fired from LMVSC a few years ago? I was told this whole team used to be part of LMVSC and came as a group? Any parents in the know care to enlighten us? |

He wasn't fired. He came over when EM took over as TD from LMVSC. |
