I am in my 50s and my diet has actually improved during Covid- more cooking- plenty of fruits and vegetables, less red meat, less fast food. I take a probiotic daily and drink plenty of water. I almost miss straining and hard stools- less clean- up. Now things are way too soft and I am spending entirely too much time wiping and then going back for detail work with flushable wipes. I have resorted to glycerin suppositories to try and get a “clean sweep.” Any tips? |
2 tablespoons of Metamucil each day. |
No idea. My bowel movements are the best during passover. All that matzo and i help it with a couple prunes a day |
Oatmeal helps me, and a squatty potty. |
Add a bidet to your toilet |
+1 Or wash off in the shower. Wiping with dry paper is actually a bizarre American thing. Water is essential. |
Toto brand bidet. I got mine from Costco. It even has a warm seat and warm water. Every home in Asia has one. |
This is the weirdest question ever. Just get a bidet or use flushable wipes. |
It seems you might be worrying about this too much, striving for perfection. Just shower before bed. |
I'm assuming they don't want skid marks. |
You can get a bidet attachment from Amazon for 25$. Or have Metamucil |
This is what keeps you up at night? |
Do not use flushable wipes-they are not flushable and they are destroying our sewer systems! |
Ew! So long to intimacy, smelling good (good luck at a dog park) and clean undies. |
Is it your probiotic?? Can you go for more natural forms of probiotics in food instead? I would avoid suppositories. They can be habit forming. Have you tried elimination diets, like lactose? Reduce caffeine maybe? |
