This or a similar fiber capsule. It's a fiber issue, I deal with it too. Saving for a bidet though.

Do not use flushable wipes-they are not flushable and they are destroying our sewer systems!

+1 “flushable wipe” is an oxymoron.

Get a squatty potty. It makes a pretty big difference.

So you put them in the trash.

Glad to see someone else asking about this. At 66 I struggle with this.

I am in my 50s and my diet has actually improved during Covid- more cooking- plenty of fruits and vegetables, less red meat, less fast food. I take a probiotic daily and drink plenty of water. I almost miss straining and hard stools- less clean- up. Now things are way too soft and I am spending entirely too much time wiping and then going back for detail work with flushable wipes. I have resorted to glycerin suppositories to try and get a “clean sweep.” Any tips?

You sound like me. late 40s. Spend a fortune on wet wipes (that I don't flush).

From a European perspective, this is gross... you need soap and water

Or wash off in the shower. Wiping with dry paper is actually a bizarre American thing. Water is essential.

What do you do when you are not at home? I’m assuming public toilets do not have bidet attachments.

Most of us on this site have had babies in the house at one point or another, so yes, much better in the trash than backing up the sewage line so it speed back into your home.

Op, get the bidet. It was the main thing my family all missed about home on a recent trip. It feels gross to go without it now.

Also get a checkup for hemrhoids or other blockages that might be causing problems. Good luck!

PP is 66 years old. They don't have a diaper genie in their bathroom. They are literally throwing poop in the trashcan.

How in the world does using a glycerin suppository affect the outcome here?

I was wondering the same thing. But I’m not sure that I want to know the answer.

These crackers will end your problem, probably because the base is psyllium husk, the same ingredient in Metamucil. But unlike Metamucil, they’re delicious.
