What to eat after weekend of poor eating?

Anonymous
I’m feeling so sick. It’s been months and months since I’ve binged like this and I’m so uncomfortable. I’I’m thinking liquid diet with veggies? Maybe yogurt and tuna for protein? What do you eat after a streak of poor eating to get back on track and de-bloat?

I have been doing 24 hour fasts from sunday evening to Monday evening since I tend to over indulge on the weekends.

I’m not sure I can do this because I’m anemic and prone to fainting. I have to eat something.

Juice diet. It’ll literally detoxify your body.

Like fresh squeezed juice? Or any kind of 100% juice?

Just get back to normal eating. And reflect on why it happened and how you can avoid triggering another binge.

Do NOT do a cleanse, do not do any fad diets. Just listen to 22:04 and start your next meal as a normal one.

Also increase your activity the next few days.

Lots of water.

I like to reset with normal meals but on the lighter side. For example, smoothie for breakfast, big salad for lunch, broth based soup for dinner or some protein and veggies.

Chicken soup with ginger. Leafy greens - salad, sautéed spinach, bok choy with ginger. Plain crackers.

Go back to not eating trash. I have to eat garbage every once in a while. Its totally normal. Drink lots of water and exercise. You will be fine.

+1 Yes this is the long-term answer. Compensation behaviors tend to perpetuate the cycle of binge-compensate-binge-compensate. Trust your body
