I am at the Salisbury site right now, sitting for the post-shot observation period. This is an extraordinarily well-run operation. Not crowded at all, zero wait, and friendly National guard and healthcare workers everywhere. It’s also just about 45 minutes from the Delaware beaches and OC if you want to combine it with a getaway. |
The video on this link says it is only for teens with underlying conditions. |
They are not checking for conditions and there are a ton of open spots (I.e. you are not taking a spot away from anyone else). I know a bunch of DC families who are making the trip. When you register you just say you qualify. The site is aware that people are doing this. They want to fill the spots. |
Why not just shift the vaccinations to the western shore where it still isn't always easy to find an appointment? |
My 16 year old doesn't have an ID (not doing DMV during COVID) what ID are they looking for? |
I went to the DMV while COViD precautions are in effect. It was magnificent- we keep these procedures after COVID. |
Oh, just lie. What a great example for your kids. |
Which dmv? I need to go |
Is the Salisbury site just for MD residents? |
It's open to anyone. |
Not a pp with a kid, but for my young adult non-driver (with a medical condition), we provided a passport as the ID. |
That's a great idea about combining it with a beach visit. Glad to hear things are running smoothly there. |
Yes, it's definitely better to let critically important vaccines sit unused for weeks and weeks in the middle of a pandemic. That for sure is the better example. |
No it is not, You need to register on the MD Mass Vax site. You can't just show up. |
