Anyone know which U14g team dropped out of Bethesda Cup this morning? The schedule is still the same.

I also have another question about this tournament. Anyone know what the mask mandate (kids wear during playing?) or amount of people that can watch rules are for this tourney. Or where theses rules are posted?

Tournament director said players don't have to wear masks while playing. They are allowing one spectator per player (though team manager and covid manager don't count, so team can have a couple of extra people). They want to avoid crowds.

They moved the tournament out of the county for the sole reason of the mask mandate. So, no, they are not mandatory. Gotta love MoCo. Same games will go on with same kids right over the border.

avoid crowds reason for 1 parent is kind of dumb especially being outside while wearing a mask. Heard that parents have to sit on same sideline as their team allowing for plenty of separation between people. The 1 person limitation is dumb especially if they are from the same household.

I just took a look at the U14 schedule and, I hope it's Laurel Lions that dropped out. They are going to get killed in this tournament. It won't be fun for them.
