Anyone else really tired of nonstop Peloton commercials?

The cultish smugness and self-congratulistic attitude of these commercials is getting tiresome. I’m watching a program about the invention of canned soup on the History Channel right now, and I’ve seen 4 Peloton commercials in just this episode.

I don’t get it. It’s a cult. A creepy one at that.

It's a Covid fad. In 6 month to a year, once Covid is gone, a new exercise fad will evolve. My guess is it will have something to do with a gym or outside activity. And all of those 2k and 3k Pelotons will collect dust.

Yes because before COVID, Peloton was struggling.

Oh wait — it wasn’t.

Said the person who clearly doesn’t own one. I’ve always worked out and was previously an OTF member but the variety and content that Peloton offers is amazing.

I'm sorry you Peloton owners are butthurt by my comments. Check back here in 6 months and let's see if you're still using your stationary bike.

You jealous?

BTW I’ve had my stationary bike for 3 years. Still love it.

It is still is a fad. Fitness fads are always a thing. Fitness fads can be great exercise, the point is some people just follow the fad. Some people will stick with it, but a lot of people who swear by peleton now will move onto the next thing.

Peloton is for unathletic losers

As someone who owns a Peloton and likes it - the commercials annoy me because the ‘users’ in it look 1000x better than I do (and I am not overweight). False advertising LOL

The ads don't bother me as much as friends constantly posting their "rides" and stats. "Dude I got my 200th ride and I hit a 160"

I’ve had mine for over two years ( so pre-pandemic) and I use almost daily. I was a runner ( many 10- milers and marathons). Also took yoga classes and belonged to a gym for weights. With children and commute could not get in all in. Already had an old treadmill. Bought the bike, my own weights and have not looked back. It works.

I don’t post on social media about it. It is a top- notch experience in my opinion. I really don’t get the negativity of those who don’t use the app or have one of the products.

It's as annoying as any repetitive commercial for a product I don't want/need. It's the repetition more than the content that's annoying.

I like how on facebook you can click "don't show me this ad again" and wish I could do that on tv too!

Weird. I don't get any peloton commercials. Maybe they are targeting you for your demographic? Rich? White?

Just curious how much they cost. My neighbor got one last year.
