I'm tired of the work out with your baby video's. I'm no. Carrying around a baby already screws us my body alignment but now I'm expected to do it as a work out? What about the mental health break working out is supposed to provide? Screw that. |
Former marathon runner and D1 college soccer player. Yeah--my Peloton is for cross-training. I use it 1-2 days per week consistently. I go to a Crossfit like gym 2 days per week, Pilates 2 days, run outside 1. I lift at the gym 3 days per week. 51-year old woman. Spinning in general creates a high level of endorphins and I sweat more than at any other activity. I used to do the one day a week in studio--but once Covid hit I got a Peloton. My kids use it too. If it's icy outside or there is some other reason I don't have time to get in a workout outside of the home---it's great to have. |
so sick of seeing the ad. If I was interested in buying one - I wouldn't be buying one now. |
You mean buy one of these overpriced stationary bikes with a $$ monthly subscription, needing someone to refer to you as Peloton, “They can stop you, they can’t break you”?
Who the hell is they, stop you from what, break you from what? You idiot, Peloton is who is controlling you, defining you. You want to be 25, going to 30, 35, still want to compete on a leaderboard with 16-18 year olds? Seriously, have you thought it out! Man I hate the product, the ads, the price, the morons that have to have this thing in their dining room. It’s called a cult. Get help. That said I once own bike rollers, bikesits on them, about $250 used, no one yelling, no $40 ish per person subscription. To watch who’s knows who riding a bike, yelling at me. |
We bought the Peloton+ a few weeks ago. It’s awesome and I regret we didn’t buy it earlier. We have a toddler and it’s one of the few ways we can find time to work out. |
I haven’t watched commercial tv in years. |
I love my pelo |
I don't own a peloton tread or bike, but started using the app just before covid shut everything down. Being familiar with the content gave me the motivation I needed to keep using it during covid. My small weight training gym shifted to online classes, and I supplemented run and yoga with peloton. It changed my lift--my mobility, cardio strength and strength are further ahead than they would be otherwise. I say all of this as someone who's overweight but works out regularly.
OP, perhaps you'd do well to turn off the TV and workout? |
Spoiler alert, you can use any bike and any tread (or run/walk outside, use dumbbells, meditate, do yoga, etc) for $12.99 a month. It's the best money I spend every month. |
You do realize you're getting catty over a stationary exercise bike right? |
They commercials are smug and annoying. “Y’all are crushing it out there, Pelaton!” Oh shut up. Go to a gym like a normal person you pretnetious moron. |
Those pp’s aren’t the ones starting weird threads about an exercise company. Who’s butthurt? |
+1. And family members can use your subscription too. |
I haven’t watched commercial tv in years.
I love my peloton, I’ve had it since 2018 and use it almost daily. I actually own two, one in each of my houses. Dh loves it as well. |
Well, after the Sex and the City reboot, lol.... |
