The inhouse bickering and complaining about everything within the club as represented by not only this thread but the several pages that consumed the general NoVa soccer thread. No other club has its own thread dedicated to internal bickering and whining. |

Haha! Every family bickers. All it took, was a disgruntled parent/coach to post on the internet and then the perception of VYS as a chaotic club was created. Those examples are also hearsay on an anonymous forum. Take them with a grain of salt. If not, I have bridge to sell you. |

That's what I figured.....nonsense. Our family has been a part of several clubs over many many many years and multiple children. VYS's "hot mess" isn't any more of a "hot mess" than any other club's "hot mess." Every single club in this area can have a thread dedicated to its own "hot mess," and I could personally contribute to the airing of other club's dirty laundry (but I won't because it's gauche). Someone with an ax to grind from three years ago started this thread and many of those affiliated someones won't just let it go, and seem have a psychopathic need to continue to trash VYS therein. How many families are involved with VYS?
How many people have posted about VYS on DCUM? I guarantee you the percentage is those posting is less than 1 percent, and it's not a scientifically selected sample. It's the angriest ex-parents and a couple of coaches who are no longer with VYS and refuse to accept the reasons why. If you found the right combination of people, you could have quite an entertaining thread on Arlington, McLean, or even a smaller club (in terms of numbers) like Braddock Road. Look at it this way -- the main thread has had far more posts on PAC (generally positive or neutral) recently than it has on Loudoun or Alexandria, two clubs that are much, much bigger. Does that statistically prove that PAC is better than Loudoun or Alexandria? No. And neither does it prove anything that a few disgruntled VYS people have congregated here and reacted angrily when a few relatively gruntled VYS people have called them out on their b.s. |
