Why would they turn it down? It's an opportunity. Not a great opportunity but an opportunity. Until something better surfaces, you go with the best opportunity in front of you. Most would do the same. Not sure what your point is?? You're saying this shows DCU is quality??? 🤔🤣😭

So why would DCU invite ENCL players to train? Cause none of the MLS Next clubs would want to send their players.

The MLS next clubs are greedy, money makers. They only care about their bottom line and that means keeping the players. And there is a limit on how many players DCU can take anyway from a club at one time.

What is the limit? by age or club?

I believe it is 3 per club. Per age group. But the rules could have changed without me knowing. Just not as close to those rules.

This is to protect the pay to play clubs and their business models. If not, MLS academies would take many more of the kids and the pay to play clubs would have little or no talent left. Why the US model for football sucks. It is driven by capitalism and greed.

Yes you can leave or booted but can't join other academies, next yes. ds left because of play time, with deep bench they keep bring up younger age group.

If they boot you, what's the reasoning for blocking you from joining another academy? Or another MLS Next team?

It don't think it's a blocking situation. But it feels that way. Most of the time DCU wants money if you go to another MLS academy. And the money isn't chump change if you've been there for a few years. And often times the other academies don't want to pay. Sometimes they will.
It all depends on the player, his quality and the situation. Plenty of kids have left and go play for a MLS next club. DCU can't demand money then. What you know for sure is that DCU isn't working in your son's best interest in any of these situations.

This is precisely why DCU is a dangerous proposition for a young player. They don't know how to manage the kids or develop them. Sorry that was your experience. Must have been frustrating.

So your DS was underperforming at a professional academy, got benched, they brought up younger players to further their development based on their performance and potential, yet you want to blame DCUA for doing what every academy does?

You get emotional and upset because your underperforming son is on bench or left off the roster and instead of facing the reasons your kid is underperforming, you want to blame the club.
Typical entitlement.

So funny how you want to talk about other people's kids. You better PRAY your kid is doing well because the bad karma you have on you at this point will be too much to over come if he isn't.
