Initials BJM?

Anonymous
DCUM, how bad are the initials BJM on a girl? Specifically the BJ part. Our baby is due in July, it's also the month that we married, so we're really into the middle name "Juliet". The B is 100% the first name. The other name we really like is Virginia as a middle name, but then BV also sounds terrible (like bacterial vaginosis).

Does it matter that the first two initials say BJ? Or it is only a bad thing if your last name starts with a J?

Literally just don't.

Not a big deal, and likely won't even be noticed unless you're really into monograms or something.

OP here. We are into monograms, but the monogram would be bMj

BM is bad enough. Her monogram will be bMj.

No. Just stay way from BJ altogether.

Don't do it. Kids can be cruel.

My moms initials were bj (after marriage) and it was a non-issue.

I know a woman who goes by the initials "BJ." I don't even know what her real name is. She's the mom of one of my kid's close friends.

My babysitter has these initials and has them in her email and I’ve never once thought about the connotations. I think it’s fine.

Good grief. Most kids don't make fun of kids' initials. I doubt many people would even ask their middle name.

I know a man who goes by BJ. I don’t think anything of it personally.

Non issue to me.
