Study: less attractive women more likely to cheat

Women with one particular physical characteristic are more likely to cheat, and it’s not what you might think.

A study by Jim McNulty published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that less attractive women are more likely to cheat.

According to the researchers, the better looking a woman is the more likely she is to be faithful.

There is very little to explain why this might be the case, but there was an inverse correlation between attractiveness and the likelihood to cheat in women.

Makes sense because that’s the way ugly women can bone out of their league, only in a cheating/secret affair.

Another hypothesis instead of low self-esteem...maybe hot women nabbed a husband they were actually attracted to, and therefore have no desire to cheat. whereas less attractive women settled for the nice guy with the spare tire, which loses its appeal after a while, so they go looking for fulfillment, and bam, now they can bag a hottie because the market of women available to cheat is lower than men.

It doesn’t surprise me. Every time I read about a sexless marriage, the wife is always described as either “beautiful,” or “fit and attractive.”

After reading this forum for a couple of years, I’m convinced that less attractive women just like sex more, and are more likely to have sex at all, whether that’s cheating or within a monogamous relationship.

Why? it is not a rocket science, I can give you one why:

Attractive women are usually fully aware of their endowment and they carefully care about this and invest it wisely. If they use it as a tool to attract and aquire a rich husband, they won't mess up their position and status and money for a side F... K.

I think so too. Men aren’t picky when looking for a secret side piece. She needs to be available and ready to screw without wining and dining, settle for scraps.

I don’t think so. The women I know who cheated married out of their league looks-wise. My theory is that once their marriage dies or their husband (or wife) stops caring about them or noticing them they get with the first person who shows them interest, and this goes for attractive and unattractive people. I know a woman who says part of the reason so was ripe for cheating was because the other man noticed when she got a haircut or when she wore a new outfit. She felt desired again. I think married people become invisible to each other after awhile.

I have never seen this scenario. Ever. It’s usually women trying to exit into a better financial picture/lifestyle. They are generally less attractive because the guy they met young wasn’t as desirable. I have never seen a woman with a highly/attractive desirable, good earner cheat.

It lends credence to “men affair down”. Looking for easy sex on the side, you aren’t anywhere as discerning as when looking for a life partner. Availability is king. Duh
